Sweaty Kids Film Festival

Sweaty Kids Film Festival is a celebration of unprofessional local talent, artistically and athletically. We gather a wide array of outdoor “edits” (mini-movies) from local troublemakers that represent the sportsperson's paradise that is the Gunnison Valley. The event boasts live music, drinks, and a raffle with donated prizes from local businesses.

Sweaty Kids was born at the Majestic in 2019 with about 80 attendees. Our 2020 livestream reached 1,000 viewers and our 2021 show at the Center for the Arts hosted over 300 people and 20 submissions. Sweaty Kids raised over $4,000 for the Majestic in 2021 and 2022, and is a tradition we plan to continue every year!
